What would happen to you or your loved one if
a medical event occurred, and recuperating or
being cared for at home was not possible?
Most of us believe that we will never need the
services of a rehabilitation center or care in a
nursing facility, yet Americans are living longer than
ever, and more and more are finding themselves
unexpectedly seeking post-acute care. A sudden
illness or injury can happen at any age:
- Studies have shown that everyone will
experience a nursing facility in their
lifetime, whether through a family member,
a friend, or for themselves.
- 1 out of 4 individuals, or 25%, will need
nursing services or rehabilitative care in
their lifetime following a hospitalization.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is the payer
for 70% of the care in skilled nursing facilities like
Holy Trinity, yet the state has not improved payments
to nursing facilities for many years. Since Holy Trinity
must continue to provide the highest quality of care
we believe every resident deserves, we need your
support to offset the recurring and growing shortfall
in Massachusetts Medicaid payments.

“I was able to live on my
own until the age of 89. I
adjusted to Holy Trinity as
my home in a very short
time. I’ve made many
friends. Everyone knows
my name - the staff, aids
and nurses are always
helpful and kind. I enjoy many of the activities here;
bingo, monthly birthday parties, special music and
sing a-longs, ice cream socials and many more. There
are also many outdoor activities such as barbeques
and band concerts.”

“My brothers and I are very happy that our mom is
in such a wonderful, safe, and caring facility. We are impressed by how well things are taken care of, such
as the cleanliness.
It is a good feeling to know that our mother is doing
so well and being so cared for. Holy Trinity has been
a godsend to us. Mom’s health and welfare
is always a concern and we are grateful that we need
not worry about her when we cannot be there.”
Your gift will have an immediate and direct impact on the
financial stability of our programs, and helps to “insure”
that we are here to care for your loved ones now, while they
need it, and in the years to come, when you may!
